All Green Building Service Providers must provide proof of Green Building certification and of a valid State License to be listed in the directory.

Below is a list of potential Green Building professionals and our required certifications:

Accepted sources for green building certification or accreditation include:

            

• LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs)
  The LEED Professional Accreditation program is managed by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI)
• Build It Green offers certification for several certification programs:
  Certified Green Building Professional (CGBP)
  Certified Green Point Rater (GPR)
• Earth Advantage home certification program
• Sustainable Building Advisor (SBA) certification program
• Additionally, we recognize several green building programs at accredited colleges and universities. These include, but are not limited to, the USGBC affiliated program at UC Berkeley Extension and the Energy Management program at Cabrillo College.
